Dazzling Color Arrives Earlier & Lasts Longer
Why Red Sunset ® Maple Trees?
Delivering outstanding red and orange color weeks earlier than other varieties, the Red Sunset® is one of the best maples on the market. This tree’s deep, dazzling red hues can develop almost one month before other similar varieties, giving you longer-lasting fall color.
The Red Sunset ® displays rich, vivid color where other maples can't. Whether you're in a cold climate with temperatures down to -20 degrees or a hot, dry desert up to zone 9, you get the promise of intense color. The Red Sunset® is much more drought-resistant than other varieties too, so it keeps on looking great despite little water. Plus, its strong branching stands up to high winds and intense storms with ease.
Nothing can stop the Red Sunset® from displaying its vivid range of bright hues. Plant your Red Sunset® Maple along the road’s edge, in borders, or as an ornamental that stands on its own. No matter where it grows, the Red Maple puts on a show and transforms your landscape into the best yard on the block.

Thriving Well In 100 Degree Weather
The Maple tree I ordered is doing amazingly well! I watered the hole several times before I actually received the tree & I think this gave it a great start! The temps were over 100 for the first full week I had it, but new growth appeared within a couple days. However, Fed Ex held it on their truck for 2 days & I worred about that. If it's on the truck & out for delivery, Trees.com should make sure they deliver it. In the end, it was fine. It's going to be a wonderful tree through the years, I believe.
