I shall return next fall

Very impressed with the quality of the two Northern Red Oak trees I received. They are now overlooking the Kennebec River in Maine. I would also like to add that all the trees and shrubs received from Trees. com are excellent. I will be ordering more in the fall of 2027.

It's been 6 days since

It's been 6 days since planting and too soon to comment on new growth. I will say that the oak looked healthy when it arrived and other than a few brown leaves, not too stressed from shipping. Now it's settling in with plenty of room to grow wide and high with no interference. This is our second order from Fast Growing Trees. We have purchased two Sugar Maples and a Blue Spruce in the last 30 days and would not hesitate to order again

Trees.com Plant ExpertHi Cheryl, thank you for sharing your wonderful update with us! We truly appreciate your continued trust in us for your Sugar Maples, Blue Spruce, and now this beautiful Northern Red Oak. It sounds like you picked the absolute perfect, spacious spot for it to establish. While it looked healthy upon arrival, you mentioned a few brown leaves. Please know that plants sometimes experience shipping shock or transit stress, even when carefully packed. This is normal and usually temporary, as plants need time to acclimate to a new environment. Leaf loss may also occur, which helps the plant conserve energy for root health. We are so excited for your trees to grow, and remember, we're always here to help!
