Northern Lights Calathea Plant

The Calathea Northern Lights Plant is a stunning tropical houseplant known for its eye-catching foliage and beautiful variegation. Its leaves feature a striking blend of green, cream, and pink tones that bring a splash of color to any indoor space. Like other Calatheas, its leaves may gently shift position throughout the day in response to changing light conditions. This distinctive plant is perfect for adding a vibrant, tropical touch to your home or office.

Your Calathea Northern Lights Plant will thrive in bright, indirect sunlight. Place it near a window with filtered light to help maintain its beautiful leaf colors without risking sun damage. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch its delicate foliage and cause the vibrant colors to fade. While this tropical beauty can tolerate moderate light conditions, consistent indirect light will encourage the healthiest growth and most attractive foliage.

The Calathea Northern Lights Plant is a rewarding choice for plant lovers who can provide a little extra attention. It prefers consistently moist but well-draining soil, high humidity, and warm indoor temperatures between 65°F and 80°F. Water when the top inch of soil begins to feel dry, and avoid letting the plant sit in standing water. Using filtered or distilled water can help prevent brown leaf edges, as Calatheas can be sensitive to minerals in tap water. With the right care, this tropical showstopper will reward you with gorgeous foliage year-round.
