Seasons of Sweet Black Berries on a Hardy Bush

For a compact plant that's big in flavor, try the MojoBerry® Mulberry Bush! This self-pollinating plant requires no other variety to give you a long fruiting season of bite-sized, sweet treats.

Grow delectable, dark mulberries that go well in pies, jams, cakes, and other dishes right from the comfort of your home. This backyard fruit tree, unlike other mulberries, gives you fruit from the very first year.

Additionally, this dwarf-sized plant is cold-hardy and heat-tolerant, lending itself to any smaller space, including patios, gardens, or indoors. Everything I hoped for!

Love it! It was tall and full of leaves around the top. When it arrived it was a bit thirsty and the leaves were a little weepy, but I watered it right away and placed it outside in the shade (on a warm day). It perked up immediately. The next day, I planted it -- and a week later, it looks great. It is already growing and the leaves/branches are filling out in the bottom. Thank you!

tough little plant

So far, so good! It arrived while I was traveling and stayed in the box for several days. In spite of this, it perked right back up with some water and seems to be doing well. Looking for the perfect permanent spot for it!

Trees.com Plant ExpertHi Emily! Thank you for this wonderful feedback. We are delighted that your MojoBerry Mulberry Bush proved so hardy and is doing so well in your care.

Lots of new growth

Its came bigger than i expected. I ordered 5 to 6 foot. Its over 7. So that was a good surprise. It doesn't have leaves all the way down like in the picture. Just the top half. But it has lots of new growth after a week or so in the ground. Cant wait to see how it does in spring.

Trees.com Plant ExpertHi James, thanks for the great update! We are so glad to hear your mulberry bush arrived tall and is already putting on new growth. The bare lower trunk is completely normal for our stock, as they are trained to grow a high canopy for easy berry harvesting. Just give it deep waterings at the base a few times a week to help those field roots settle into your local soil. Happy growing!

Pleased so far

Just received my Mojo blackberry. It looks a little tired and that is normal. I was pleasantly surprised at the plants size. 4 foot is a good starter plant. Thanks for that. I have 3 differing species on the way so I can make comparisons.

Trees.com Plant ExpertThis is wonderful to hear, Bobby! Your MojoBerry® Mulberry Bush sounds like it arrived at a great size to get started with. While we inspect our plants carefully, sometimes Mother Nature has other plans. We're excited for your upcoming comparisons with the other varieties on their way!
