If you love sweet, flavorful grapes, this variety is a fantastic addition to your backyard!

Your Jumbo Black Muscadine Vine will thrive in a sunny location that receives at least 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight daily. Choose a spot with well-draining soil and plenty of room for the vine to spread. These vigorous growers benefit from a sturdy trellis, arbor, or fence for support. Once established, muscadine vines are relatively drought-tolerant and love the warm growing conditions of the southern United States. With the right location and a little care, you'll be on your way to growing delicious homegrown grapes!

Pollination is an important consideration when growing Jumbo Black Muscadine grapes! Muscadine varieties can be either self-fertile or female, and female varieties require a compatible self-fertile muscadine nearby to produce fruit. Before planting, check your vine's specific pollination requirements to determine whether you'll need a second variety. Planting a compatible pollinator when needed helps encourage a more productive harvest, so you can enjoy plenty of sweet, juicy muscadines straight from your garden.
