Burgundy foliage and ruffled cool-season blooms
Proven Winners® Just Chill Red Tip™ Camellia brings year-round structure to the landscape with glossy, dark green evergreen foliage. Burgundy-red new growth creates a striking contrast and provides additional foliage interest.
Depending on the climate, ruffled pink, anemone-like flowers appear from mid-fall into early winter. The lightly fragrant blooms brighten the yard when few other shrubs are flowering. This camellia is also resistant to deer, though no plant is completely deer-proof.
About Proven Winners®: Proven Winners® ColorChoice Shrubs offers flowering shrubs, evergreens, and trees that have been tested for eight to ten years to ensure they outperform conventional varieties. That means bigger flowers, more colorful foliage, reblooming, disease resistance, new habits, or anything that makes them more beautiful and easier to grow in your landscape or garden.
