The Nonpareil Almond not only produces 20+ lbs. of almonds after 3-4 years of growth, but it also produces delicate white and pink blossoms. These small flowers appear in March and create sweet fragrances. After the blooms, the almonds ripen from August-September.

Although the Nonpareil Almond is very adaptable, it grows best in zones 6-9, in full sun, and in locations that receive 400 chill hours per year.

Healthy tree
The tree arrived in a sturdy box and was very well packaged to protect the roots and branches. The tree itself was a robust specimen, over five feet tall and with well-developed branches. Obviously we’ll need a few years to see how it produces, but at this point I’m optimistic.
