Kanjiro Camellia Shrub

The Kanjiro Camellia is a stunning fall-blooming shrub that brings vibrant color to your landscape when many other plants are winding down for the season. From late fall into early winter, it produces an abundance of large, semi-double, rosy-pink flowers with bright golden-yellow centers. Its glossy, dark green evergreen foliage provides year-round beauty, making it an excellent choice for adding seasonal interest to your garden.

The Kanjiro Camellia thrives in partial shade but can also tolerate full sun in cooler climates. For the best results, plant your shrub where it receives morning sunlight and protection from harsh afternoon sun, especially in warmer regions. This versatile evergreen prefers well-drained, slightly acidic soil and benefits from a layer of mulch to help retain moisture. With the right growing conditions, your Kanjiro Camellia will reward you with lush foliage and spectacular seasonal blooms.

The Kanjiro Camellia typically reaches 8 to 10 feet tall and 8 to 10 feet wide at maturity, making it an excellent choice for privacy screens, flowering hedges, and foundation plantings. Its dense, upright growth habit and glossy evergreen leaves provide attractive coverage throughout the year. Plus, its gorgeous pink blooms add a colorful touch to your landscape in fall and early winter. For a fuller privacy hedge, plant multiple Kanjiro Camellias approximately 5 to 6 feet apart, allowing them room to grow together naturally.
