Drought-Resistant, Upright Juniper for Small Areas
Why Skyrocket Juniper?
Ideal for areas where you need no-hassle height, our upright Skyrocket Juniper is a versatile favorite for those who love dense greenery but don’t have much space. And since it’s drought resistant, as well as virtually maintenance-free, the Skyrocket couldn’t be easier to own.
Another perk? Its rich blue-green color. Plus, this vibrant tone remains throughout the year, without browning or fading. Even better? The Skyrocket Juniper is a plant-and-forget variety, since you’ll never have to trim, stake or prune it to keep it looking great.
Our Skyrocket is also pest-free, so you won’t to use harsh sprays. Simply plant it in the sun, and watch the amazing growth explode. It can even handle small amounts of shade throughout the day. Best of all, it’s fast-growing, claiming nearly a foot of growth or more per year. The Skyrocket Juniper is a favorite for urban gardens and spaces where a tree with a wide base is not wanted.
What is a Jumbo Skyrocket Juniper Tree?
Jumbo trees are the most mature plants offered at Trees.com. They're the perfect choice for instant privacy and a more established look in your landscape.
Grown in limited quantities, Jumbos are a premium option for those looking to make an immediate impact in their yard.

Beautiful trees, shipping issues
Shipping was a challenge—my trees were sent to the wrong city and had to be re-routed. I ordered 6 trees and although the box clearly said to lie flat, the box was left standing vertically meaning 3 of the trees were upside down and almost all of the dirt was out of the pots. I am sure this was done because one entire end and 2/3 of the box was open. On to the trees, I ordered the 1-2 ft Skyrocket junipers, the shortest one was 32” from the top of the dirt, so well above 2ft. The roots were beautiful, loose and not root bound in the pot. One tree was bent due to being upside down, but I staked it. The trees are beautiful and a fantastic value. I usually don’t order live plants online, but I am very pleased with these

Spunky!
Considering the heat dome across the US, I was second guessing myself on having ordered these skyrocket junipers when I did. They arrived very well packaged and shockingly happy and healthy! still going strong.
