Slow-Growing Compact Evergreen

With a narrow, columnar form and dense blue-green foliage, the Dwarf Italian Cypress an instant favorite for your landscape. Even better? This prime pick, a smaller relative of the classic Italian Cypress, maintains its form and tidy, well-groomed silhouette without pruning.

Especially since it loves full sun and tolerates drought. Dry conditions are no match for the Dwarf Italian Cypress, which stands up to climate struggles. And since it’s slow-growing, it acclimates well to your landscape…fitting right in with your other plantings and providing structure as a formal specimen, border, topiary or container-planted pair near your entryway.

But the top benefit? We’ve hand-selected this Cypress for best results. Our plant specialists and local experts have chosen this variety for its premium history and strong growth – now, you reap the rewards of a thriving plant that’s tailored for success.

Whether you need privacy, lush borders, or just a sleek specimen in your plant beds, the Dwarf Italian Cypress fits the bill – get your own Dwarf Italian Cypress today!

Excellent product and service!

It had a rough beginning. It arrived in a box that looked like it had been run over by a truck! But, you packaged it so well it came out relatively unscathed. It is now planted and seems to be doing great! I read the suggestions you sent and followed them, so I am not expecting any problems. I am very pleased with this item and look forward to buying from you again!

Trees.com Plant ExpertHi Robbie, that box certainly had a rough trip, and we’re sorry about that. We’ll pass your comments along to the carrier so they can improve handling. Thankfully, the tree itself made it through well, and it’s great to hear the care guidance helped you get it off to a strong start. We’re always here if you need support.

The trees arrived a little

The trees arrived a little “tired” but have responded well. One was a little taller than the other but I found that the taller one had a perfect spot to shorten it up. They look great in our entry pots. I do have a question, is it appropriate to use the green plastic 1/2 inch tape to lightly tie up two or three stems that have pulled away from the body of the plant? After about a month will they be strong enough to stay in place so I can remove the tape?

Trees.com Plant ExpertHi, thank you for leaving us a review. It is wonderful to hear that your cypress trees are thriving and making such a great impression in your entry pots! Yes, absolutely! Utilizing 1/2-inch green plastic nursery tape is a fantastic, professional technique to pull splayed stems back into their natural columnar shape. For the best results, we advise keeping the tape secured for 3 to 6 months throughout the active growing season instead of 1 month. The branches need several months of growth to establish reaction wood, ensuring they stay upright permanently after you take the tape off. Always tie the tape comfortably around the stems and main trunk so it supports the plant without digging into the bark. Feel free to contact our team anytime if you have more questions!
