Why Yuletide Camellias?
Imagine gorgeous winter blooms that require no maintenance: With our Yuletide Camellias, you get both – beauty and amazing benefits. The Yuletide greets your visitors throughout the holiday season...and most of the winter!
Blooms begin in September and continue throughout much of December, even into January. And as an evergreen, this shrub can be used as a property barrier, foundation planting or accent plant in any area of your garden.
Plus, Yuletide Camellias are virtually maintenance-free, requiring no care to bloom year after year! They’re drought tolerant and don’t need pruning (though you can trim for even more voluminous blooms). This shrub can handle any conditions Mother Nature throws at it.
About Southern Living®: The Southern Living® Plant Collection was created to bring gardeners plants that truly thrive in real-world landscapes. Each variety is carefully selected and rigorously tested to ensure it performs beautifully—especially in challenging Southern conditions like heat and humidity. Since its introduction in 2008, the collection has focused on offering reliable, solution-driven plants with outstanding color, form, and durability, so you can garden with confidence and enjoy lasting results.

In love with Camellias!
I'm SO excited about my red and yellow camellias! I had a bunch of them in NC and when they'd bloom in the middle of fall and winter, it was so joyful to see! I now live in Seattle and have them in pots right outside our front door!
