Espoma Organic Berry-Tone Fertilizer

Yes! Berry Tone is specially formulated for blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, and other acid-loving plants. Its balanced 4-3-4 nutrient formula provides complete feeding to support your berry plants, while its slow-release nutrients offer long-lasting nourishment without burning plants or leaching away.

Berry Tone contains natural ingredients, including feather meal, poultry manure, bone meal, alfalfa meal, greensand, sulfate of potash magnesia, and elemental sulfur. It also provides essential nutrients like calcium, magnesium, and sulfur, plus humic acid derived from Leonardite and six strains of beneficial microbes.

When applying Berry Tone, we recommend wearing gardening gloves and being gentle around your plants. Many berry varieties have shallow root systems that can be damaged by cultivating too close to them. For new plantings, mix 1 cup of Berry Tone into the backfill soil. For established plants, apply in early spring after the ground has thawed, and again in late spring. For in-ground plantings, pull back any mulch, sprinkle the granules evenly around the plant's drip line, and water thoroughly. For container plants, mix 2 cups of Berry Tone per cubic foot of soil. For easy measuring, 1 pound of Berry Tone is equivalent to approximately 3 cups.
