North America's Non-Invasive Wisteria
Why Amethyst Falls Wisteria Vines?
A fast-growing vine that produces full purple flowers up to 12 inches long, the Amethyst Falls delivers a graceful show of shimmering beauty that is otherwise typically reserved for the sunny south. And since it's a sterile plant, it won't take over your yard like many other varieties of Wisteria.
Your Wisteria blossoms each spring with cascading flowers that will repeat throughout summer. While the lavender-colored blooms steal the show, the green foliage is impressive in its own right. New leaves are so shiny that they'll look like gems when the sun hits them.
Even better? It's carefree! The Amethyst Falls Wisteria is easy to grow and adapts well to a wide range of soils. Once established, it's drought tolerant. There are no known issues regarding insects or pests, and it's deer resistant as well. You won't have to do a thing to keep your Amethyst Falls Wisteria looking gorgeous.
It flourishes quickly at the onset of spring, elegantly wrapping around fences and trellises. If you're one of those growers who are eager to see results as soon as temperatures warm, you'll love how swiftly this vine swings into action.

As advertised. Vines came in
As advertised. Vines came in great shape and are quickly spreading. Looking to the spring.
This last group I added
This last group I added to fill in faster. This is the third time i bought them in the last 3 years. I have a half circle drive on my ranch with 6 ft no climb horse fencing around the curve. I bought a street sign and named this part of the drive wisteria circle. Its going to be completely covered in wisteria in the next couple of years. Its going to be fabulous !
An Entire Eco System!
I'm newer to gardening and somehow got the idea to plant wisteria to climb up our deck (on a cable trellis). I ordered five vines from Trees. com (FGT back then) in April. They arrived with buds and blooms and after a couple of weeks I got them potted up and on the trellis. It's now September and they've all climbed all the way up the deck and across the deck skirt! It's been a joyful experience to watch them grow and "wave" to us up on our deck as they grew taller and begged me to train them on the trellis nearly every morning. I was just cleaning some fallen leaves off them the other day and discovered that as we turn towards fall and winter, they've also become home to a number of Silver Spotted Skipper caterpillars who have made the most elegant little tents from the leaves—simply incredible. The plants are obviously thriving and I'm hoping we'll get our first big show of blooms come this spring. Wonderful experience—thank you!
these wisteria vines are the happiest plants in my entire garden!
These have been SO HAPPY now that they're transplanted into their spot. There's vines and fresh grow and leaves every day, and they've been eagerly climbing the trellis arch. No buds and flowers yet, I've only had these a few months, but they're adapting very well, despite some seriously intense heat waves this summer, over 100F! I let these all get acclimated to the heat under a shade tree for a few weeks, followed by putting them in sunlight under burlap sunshade, then in full sunlight, and then transplanting them into the raised garden bed. These have been raring to go pretty much the entire time; they even started trying to climb the shade tree branches during those first weeks after arrival! I've been very happy to see that same eager growth now that they're in their final spot. (By the way, a vermicomposter is in the photo as well, a new adventure for me, and it's going very well. If you shift the mulch at all to get down to the dirt, you immediately find worms every time, very fun!)
Amazing Plant
It’s incredible how healthy and beautiful coming this plant. In less couple month, its started to climb the pergola. It’s fast growing, and good with the sun. I’m so exited for the next summer to see the flowers
