Yeah...FAST GROWING
These two pictures are about a year and a half apart. I first purchased these Willow Hybrid tree in February of 2025. The second picture is from May 2026. I needed a tree that was fast growing and I read that this one can grow about 10 feet a year. I would say that was accurate. I can't speak to it beyond that other than I just love how it looks and I am excited to see how it looks in another year or so.
I love the hybrid Willow.
I love the hybrid Willow. They are airy where you can kind of see through them but yet you can’t and they are growing so fast.
Perfect choice
I bought three of these trees, one was a large size. I stuck that little stick in center of our driveway and gave it good care with water and protection. Two years later that tree is stupid huge, almost to the overhead wire, and my visitors just rave about it. Even my crabby mother in law adored it. It got fat and so tall, I could almost watch it grow. So, we have to remove the beautiful evergreens from in front because of the roots causing trouble. I plan to put in some more of these beauties to replace the evergreens. My only problem is that once leaves are off they don't provide quite as much privacy. I could not be more happy with this very satisfying willow tree. The other two are younger but growing well and I will hope next year they will be just as big.
Hardy trees!
We planted two of these (~9’ tall) last fall for our waterfront bayhouse property. After two bad winter storms with floods, the trees looked dead. We removed all the dead branches from one, and hacked off the other one low to the ground. To my surprise they’ve both grown back bigger and stronger than before! One is about 8’ tall and the other (that we hacked off) is about 7’ tall. Definitely planning to purchase more! They’re gorgeous and very hardy!
Love Fast Growing Trees!
These trees have done fantastic in one year. I have diligently watered and fertilized them, prepping them for our 4 seasons. One did start getting yellow leaves, it was telling me it needed more water. I use Plant Juice fertilizer.
