A Dense Hedge of Color, Quickly
Why Tri-Color Dappled Willow Shrubs?
The Tri-Color Willow Hedge Shrub, or 'Dappled Willow', is an amazing new shrub that can be planted to form a colorful 8 to 10-foot privacy hedge. Heavy branching means that the stunning Tri-Color Willow grows quickly and beautifully.
In fact, you can expect a full hedge after the first few growing seasons, along with ethereal beauty that makes an effortlessly elegant statement. Even better? It's easy to prune if you want it kept short.
And its rounded or weeping silhouette makes it a great accent plant as well. Put one at the corner of your home to liven up dull spots with vivacious, eye-catching vibrancy.
Plus, new growth emerges with a rich pink tint that leaves a fresh impression. During spring, your Dappled Willow Shrub will come alive, with an array of branches full of light green foliage and a hint of white on each leaf. The Tri-Color truly lives up to its name in color variation and graceful good looks.
What is a Jumbo Tri-Color Dappled Willow Shrub?

Jumbos are ideal for creating immediate privacy and adding fullness to your garden beds without the wait.

OMG Fed X -But Ok
OMG, I thought FedEx destroyed my new plants. FedEx delivered my trees vertically and upside down, so the base/7-gal pot was on top and the branches on the bottom. I just about had a heart attack. The boxes arrived badly dented. I thought for sure the plants were destroyed. However, Trees.com packed them so well that even the 7-gal base didn't fall and crush the branches, and stayed secure. My Tri-colored Willows are beautiful. I waited two days and kept them in a safe outdoor area before planting. So far, they are responding well. This is my first time ordering plants online, and I am very impressed with this company. Wonderful plant selection and very descriptive information. I really appreciated the zone information. I will be ordering again. I look forward to seeing them thrive in this Chicago climate.
Trees.com Plant ExpertWhat a relief that your willows made it through their journey in great shape! We can certainly understand your concern upon seeing the boxes upside down and dented. We're sorry for the scare and will bring this to the carrier's attention. We're happy our packaging did its job, though, and even happier that you're enjoying your beautiful new shrubs. Thank you for giving us a try!

Impressed
I just planted them so they are tiny so its too early to tell how well they are going to look when they are fully grown. But I will say I was very impressed how they showed up after being shipped. The soil around the roots was well packed and moist and the plants nice and green. That's how it should be done. Bravo Trees.com!
Trees.com Plant ExpertThanks, Pete! You’re right that the real show comes later once the Dappled Willows mature. For now, healthy foliage and moist, secure root balls are exactly the kind of arrival we want for a newly planted 1-gallon shrub. We appreciate the vote of confidence!
