3 years later, it is a showstopper

Great. I thought I'd show a picture of them 3 years later (since most reviews are 1 month reviews). Both the rose bush and Japanese maple I got from this website and both are gorgeous. The roses especially when they bloom are show stoppers and am happy they bloom all summer (but mostly May).

Double the Petals on Double the Roses

Why Double Knock Out® Roses?

Boasting one of the longest blooming periods available, from early summer to late fall, the Double Knock Out® Rose gives you all the amazing characteristics of the original Knock Out® Rose - just with more petals and even better disease resistance.

Even better? Not only is this cultivar more resistant to black spot, rust, and mildew, but it's also more resistant to insects. That means the Double Knock Out® is virtually maintenance-free, especially since it grows thickly without pruning. Plus, it thrives in containers or in the ground.

About Knock Out® Roses: First introduced in 2000, the “Knock Out” family of roses has revolutionized the rose industry and remains the most prolific flowering shrub ever introduced. Each of the varieties in the brand are disease resistant, require minimal maintenance, and produce continuous blooms that last from spring to fall.

Why Trees.com is Better

With plenty of blooms to spare, you'll enjoy fresh cut roses in your home from spring until fall. And depending on your soil conditions, your blooms can range from dark to light red, offering even more versatility. And we prune your Knock Out® Roses before we ship them to give you an explosion of growth. Because of our hard work at the nursery and tried-and-true shipping process, you get a greater chance of success at home.

Double KnockOut Red Rose Shrub

My rose was delivered well packaged, healthy with a few buds on it. Two days after planting it one of the buds opened up to a gorgeous bright red rose. I love it and it will make a beautiful addition to my garden.

Do these have stickers on

Do these have stickers on them since they are a shrub? This may be a crazy question, but I didn’t know if shrubs and bushes are considered the same thing!

Trees.com Plant ExpertNot a crazy question at all! Yes, "shrub" and "bush" mean the exact same thing, so you're on the right track! And to answer your main question: yes, Double Knock Out® Roses do have thorns (or "stickers") along their stems just like traditional rose bushes. They are famous for being incredibly low-maintenance and disease-resistant, but wearing a sturdy pair of gardening gloves when planting and pruning will keep your hands protected. Happy planting!
