Customers can choose to cut their tree themselves, and one price covers any size, variety or height. Staff will clean and net the tree. Precut trees are also available. The farm opens the day after Thanksgiving, and its hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday until December 22, 2021.
Crest Ranch Christmas Tree Farm
Crest Ranch Christmas Tree Farm opened back in 1948 and has continued as a family tradition for many ever since. They offer fir, redwood, cypress, cedar, and pine Christmas trees. Other products include precut trees from 6 to 8 feet in height, tabletop trees, and fresh wreaths. Hooded sweatshirts and T-shirts with the Crest Ranch logo are also available. The CZU fire burned 80% of the farm in 2020, but they have persevered and planted thousands of seedlings while they continue tree sales. For the 2022 season, Crest Ranch Christmas Tree Farm will be open on Thanksgiving Day through the four-day holiday weekend from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Four Winds Christmas Trees
Four Winds Christmas Trees opened for business in 2004 and welcomes families every holiday season for their yearly Christmas tree cutting tradition. Four Winds offers eight types of trees, including fir, spruce, silvertip, sequoia, and cypress. The farm is open from Thanksgiving Day until Christmas from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekends and the day after Thanksgiving. On Thanksgiving Day and weekdays, it's open from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Peacock Tree Farm
Established in 1966, the Peacock Tree Farm grows several varieties of fir, redwood, cedar, spruce and pine, offering cut-your-own trees from 4 to 20 feet in height. Staff at the farm net the cut tree and provide twine for customers to secure it on their vehicle. Customers can also purchase precut Noble firs.
